It’s been a while since I’ve updated you on my progress. I’m truly sorry for that! I’ve been really focused but I want to update regularly because the things that I’m going through can really help my readers pull through the same things.If you want more of an update, please check out my YouTube channel! So I went on a very low carb diet. For a few weeks I didn’t eat bread, pasta, simple sugars, or potatoes. I stuck with protein and fat. The only carbs I got were in fruits and vegetables. It’s not eliminating carbs in particular that caused me to lose weight. Let me get that straight because there’s a lot of mis-information surrounding that. Of the 3 macros (Carbs, Protein, and Fat), Protein is the most satiating. Since I cut out carbs and increased the protein, I felt more full and ended up eating less. That’s where the deficit came in to lose weight. I chose that specific type of carbs because I wanted to keep the protein high so that I could support my lean body mass while losing fat.

My body felt really good. My bowels were regular and I dropped 4 lbs in a week or two. I did a re-feed so that my body didn’t get used to not having carbs and I’ve actually been maintaining since then. I haven’t gained that 4 lbs back so that’s good. I plan on going back on it starting next week.
